Andrew Millar is a Brooklyn-based drummer who performs across a range of genres, with a particular focus on swing, traditional, and straight-ahead jazz. Originally from British Columbia, he moved to New York City in 2015 with support from a BC Arts Council grant to study with drummer Kenny Washington.

Millar performs regularly with the Glenn Crytzer Orchestra, Terry Waldo’s Gotham City Jazz Band, Evan Arntzen, the James Navan Trio, and Peter Maness and the Master Keys. He has also worked with Pasquale Grasso, Jon-Erik Kelso, Ian Hendrickson-Smith, David Wong, Roni Ben-Hur, and Vince Giordano.

His New York performance credits include Lincoln Center, Dizzy’s Club, Birdland, the Rainbow Room, the National Arts Club, Joe’s Pub, and Zinc Bar.
